Beta Energy commissioned the first phase of its new $130 million campus
Beta Energy, one of Turkey's leading transformer manufacturers, has commissioned the first phase of its campus in Adana, which is one of the largest energy and technology campuses in Europe under one roof, with an investment of 130 million dollars. Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Beta Energy, announced that they aim for a turnover of 420 million dollars and an export of 240 million dollars with the investment Beta Energy, one of Turkey's most important transformer manufacturers, has commissioned the first phase of the 'Beta Energy and Technology Campus', one of the largest energy and technology campuses in Europe under one roof.
Anticipating the increase in global demand in the transformer sector, the company aims to rapidly expand its production capacity and export network with the campus, the foundations of which were laid in 2022.
"The need for transformers is increasing"
Regarding the investment, Yusuf Cenk Dağsuyu, Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Beta Energy, said, "Green and digital transformation, integration of electric vehicles into life, urbanization and investments in regions that do not have access to energy at all, and the renewal of aging infrastructures increase the need for transformers.
In order to respond to this need, we commissioned the first phase of the Beta Energy and Technology Campus, which we started investing in 2022. As of April 2025, we started the production of power transformers, concrete kiosks and high voltage switching systems on our new campus.
We aim to move the production of distribution transformers to our new investment by the end of 2026."
"The 5-year target in exports is to reach 130 countries" Emphasizing that they act with the vision of being the shopping mall of energy, Dağsuyu pointed out that with the new campus, they offer a complex structure where customers can obtain all the products they need from a single center, and said: "For nearly half a century, we have been producing high-quality transformers that meet international standards.
In addition to the products we already produce, we have expanded our product portfolio by investing in new product categories such as high voltage (HV) switching products and special power transformers at very high powers.
With our campus reaching full capacity by the end of 2026, we aim to increase production by at least 3 times in distribution transformers and at least 25 times in power transformers. With this production capacity, we aim to increase the number of export countries to 100 in the short term and to 130 in five years.
Our financial targets are growing with this investment. After our facility reaches full capacity, we have a turnover target of 420 million dollars and an export target of 240 million dollars.
Especially Europe and the Americas, Turkic republics and the African continent are among our priority markets. In addition, with this campus, our total number of employment will reach approximately 200 people at full capacity."
"Technological transformation and sustainable production" The new campus investment is not only in line with production, but also in line with the vision of technological transformation and sustainability.
